VICTORIAN CONTEMPORARY EXTENSION & REMODEL

Project Overview

Victorian Home major renovation, structural alterations and extension project. Working closely with the project architect Mooi [www.mooiarchitecture.co.uk] as main contractors to the clients brief. We undertook a major renovation project including part demolition of the existing structure, construction of a contemporary extension, bespoke kitchen, utility, bathrooms and general renovation works

    • High quality bespoke renovation and building project
    • Complete project management and detailing working on collaborative basis with client, architect and project team
    • Coordination of structural engineer, building control and temporary works designers
    • Major structural alterations including demolition of main supporting walls, temporary works design and propping, steel installation to support existing building
    • Major below ground works including underpinning, foundations beam and block floors, drainage and new soakaways
    • Construction of cantilevered steel frame forming contemporary extension and construction of new building
    • Construction of seamless standing seam zinc roof coverings with hidden gutter details and bespoke automated glass rooflight

    • Construction of new large terrace area with tiled finish flush with internal floor levels

    • Installation of bespoke minimal framed glazing and dual sliding door sets, fixed structural glazing and bespoke Oriel window

    • Manufacture and installation of bespoke custom kitchen and utility rooms including all fixtures, appliances and surfaces
    • Production and installation of custom wardrobes, boot room and other bespoke furniture
    • Restoration of original features, upgrading finishes and refurbishment works
    • Building of bathrooms including all plumbing works, installation of cloakroom

    • Bespoke glass shower screens and specialist tiling works

    • Installation of zoned underfloor heating with smart controls operating with home automation system

    • All decorating, specialist wallpapering and finishing works

    • Design and installation of new heating and mechanical systems, design and installation of new power and lighting systems

    • Design and installation of Control4 home automation system including internal and external lighting control, drop down projector and cinema screens, audio and visual solutions

    • Design and installation of whole house managed WIFI network

    • Construction of bespoke outbuilding and associated landscape enhancements.
