We were commissioned by the owners to provide a complete design and build solution for this beautiful period property in one of London’s most desirable locations. For this project we were recommended for the role of main contractors by clients that we had previously worked with on another project.
Our team worked closely with the property owners and agreed a design programme, budget and timetable for the works under a JCT contract framework.The project was successfully managed and handover achieved within two weeks of the agreed contract period which was extended due to a significant volume of additional work being completed on the client’s instructions and other necessary structural and cosmetic work being undertaken as part of the overall project.

- Project management of our team of in-house contractors and partner suppliers
- Provision of contracted party wall surveyors, structural engineers and other third party professional suppliers including architects to design plans and elevations of extension and internal alteration works
- Management of the agreement of scheme with Richmond planning department and local authority and building control officers
- Project health and safety assessments undertaken
- Completed extension and alteration works to form new kitchen area
- Extensive re-modelling of internal partitioning and installation of supporting steel columns and sections and concrete beams
- Design and installation of new hand cut roof, specialist glass roof lights installation of zinc roof coverings, lead copings and associated flashings
- Carried out all major and cosmetic building and carpentry works, completed all structural alterations as required throughout the property
- Repairs to decorative cornices, installation of ceiling roses, rendering, new ceilings, plaster boarding to walls and complete re-plastering
- Specialist removal of paint build up on decorative mouldings and cornice
- Design and manufacture of replacement architectural mouldings, internal and external doors windows, provision of ironmongery solution and installation to all joinery
- Supply and installation of architectural lighting scheme
- Installation of intruder alarm system and fire detection system
- Audio visual design, wiring and installation of specialist components and hardware
- Specialist glazing including painted glass splash-backs
- New concrete floors and screed finish including the design and installation of pumped underfloor heating system
- Design and installation of complete new mechanical and electrical systems

- Scaffolding, and access in agreement with neighbouring owners
